Hoya Krinkle 8 is a houseplant with thick, waxy leaves that have a dimpled texture. It’s a cultivar of the Hoya carnosa plant and is also known as the Hoya carnosa Ripple.

Appearance:
Dark green leaves with eight dimples on each leaf
Star-shaped flowers that form a simple umbel
Medium pink blooms

Care:
Water when the top 3-5 cm of soil has dried out
Provide bright, indirect light
Maintain a temperature range of 16°C to 24°C
Maintain moderate humidity levels between 40% and 60%
Use a semi-coarse, chunky soil medium that will drain water well

Growth:
Low growing, can hang when in a hanging pot
Easy and vigorous grower and bloomer

Native to S. China to Laos, Japan (S. Kyushu) to Taiwan
Thought to have originated from a mutation of the Hoya carnosa ‘Exotica’ cultivar
Named after Thomas Hoy, an English gardener
