Tradescantia pallida, also known as purple heart, is a low-growing, evergreen perennial plant that’s native to northeast Mexico. It’s a popular houseplant that can also be used as a groundcover or accent plant in gardens. The plant is known for its striking purple leaves and can grow up to 18 inches tall. Once placed under indirect bright light, the leaves turn a deep purple. They will continue to grow along the stock straight upward. Great for indoor or outdoors under indirect sun light.
